Tonight though I did finish one thing. I'm going to a baby shower for a friend who I've already given a gift to. She got the cutest little cowboy themed baby blanket...I should have taken a picture. alas. As I was hunting for a small project for baby, I ran across this "snuggle bunny" and just fell in love. It's very similar to dishcloths that I already make, it's totally machine washable, and is really cute!
i had a little bit of trouble with the head because it's done in "double knitting" and I couldn't figure out how to attach the ears. After careful reading of the pattern and searching other knitting blogs I found most of what I needed and faked the rest :) (Thanks mom for that skill) I was going to leave it faceless but Jonathan said that made it creepy and I don't want the little boy to have an irrational fear of bunnies so we added it on.
In other news, a dear friend of mine, who really needs Jesus, opened up to me today and I was able to share a LOT about God's love for her and the hope that she could have it she would just accept His gift. It was exhilarating to let His love just flow through me and see her heart accept it. Please pray for her as she wrestles with the demons that have her tied up and pray that God would show off mightily in her!!!
What a good post. Snuggle bunnies and sharing the Lord and his love with a friend. I mean, does it get any better than this.
