Well, that was some efficient praying and a quick acting God! Penny's doctor for the night changed some of her suctioning equipment and got out the mucus that was blocking her airways and causing the decreased function.  One down.  They also are relatively sure that her liver issues are related to being on the IV nutrition (TPN) for so long. It's the nutrition she needs but it's harder for the liver to process and sometimes results in hepatitis (don't worry, it's just inflammation of the liver) which increases bilirubin counts.  So, she's been started on medicine to treat that and we're waiting on the results of the other tests! Two down.  Now, Jonathan just fed Lydia an is holding her, we're about to pack up and head home.  Our hearts are much lighter now.  Three down.  Excellent job everyone!
