I got a little kangaroo time with Lydia which was like medicine for me. Brought my spirits right up. That and some tasty homemade dinner and a visit with friends. Or maybe it was the coke I drank....either way, today has improved. Thank you for all of your prayers today. One thing is sure, the Lord pulled us through.
A little note about the Doyles, the dedication service yesterday was so sweet. It was a blessing to be a part of it. Please continue to pray for them as they battle with insurance and the question of taking Faith home.
Hope you're having a good night!

I L O V E the last picture. You can see just how tiny she is, but also the love that surrounds her.
ReplyDeleteI am so impressed with you guys! Your posts are always full of medical jargon (used and explained correctly!) and even if scary stuff is going on, you mostly sound upbeat. I hope that things continue to move in a positive direction! I say a little prayer for you and your family everyday, happy to hear good news! Enjoy your little angels!
ReplyDeleteWonderful Pictures!
ReplyDeleteHey Bethany! I know you don't know me but I am a good friend of Shelli's from Samford! I prayed earnestly for you, Jonathan and the girls while you were pregnant, as you delivered, and won't stop! The girls are both so tiny and precious! Love that their hair is a bit different in pics! Kangaroo care seems so wonderful and I am glad you have that opportunity...hope you will be back to doing that with Penny SOON!!!
ReplyDeleteWe have sweet neighbors whose little girl has OI or "Brittle Bone Disease". I asked her to pray with me for Faith and her family Wednesday night and she was thrilled to. She is desperately wanting a family from your area whose baby with OI was fragile like Faith, but lived 5 months, to contact them for support and encouragement. If you could give me parent first names or a little more info so that ball can roll, I would love it!
Take care of yourself and keep the blog posts coming...love the updates! Many from my church family in Demopolis, AL pray daily for yall and I love to give them praises!!!
Beautiful photo. Even though I know the girls are only about 2 lbs, it's hard to get a grasp on how small and delicate they are in the photos by themselves. This photo really gives perspective on her size. And this photo demonstrates how enveloped by love they are. Someday, the girls can read these blog posts and will be as amazed as we are at how much love they were always surrounded with. You guys ROCK!
