Penny - 2 lbs 5 oz Lydia - 3 lbs 3 oz
Penny's CO2s went down enough that she is, at this very moment, being put on a conventional ventilator!!! This means she'll be able to be positioned in more comfortable ways, and also....i get to kangaroo with her again!!!! I'm just giddy about it.
Lydia is doing well. Our appointment this morning was good. She didn't pass her bottle feeding test, but that was to be expected. The suck, swallow breath combination "kicks in" around 34-35 weeks and she's just 33 right now. She'll get it. For now we'll just keep practicing during kangaroo care time.
Looks like I'm going to be busy holding babies!
