Serotonin Overload

I really should be going to sleep because I'm going back to work tomorrow, but I just have so many pictures that havent made it on the blog yet and I just had to post them.  We are doing excellently.  Penny is the happiest child ever in history and Lydia is hilarious.  I fall more in love with them every second, as only a mother can do.  This whole motherhood thing is a trip! It's like my brain just explodes with serotonin every time they smile at me.  Last night mom and I were trying to get Lydia to give in to her sleepiness and we were all three in mom's bed (the guest bed really but she's here so much it's officially hers).  We were trying to employ the "stone face" tactic so she would just lay her head down and go to sleep.  Well that little booger was just so funny that I couldn't control my laughter to the point of crying I was laughing so hard.  She was peeking around my arm, "patting" (more like slapping) my hand, pulling my hair...all to try to get my attention.  It was too funny!  Needless to say she didn't fall asleep with us in the bed, but we had a great time trying!

Penny is acting 100% better.  No more blood in her secretions at all!  She's fussing now though because she wants someone to come play with her instead of going to sleep....I already gave in once to her tonight because that smile is just so addictive!  For now I'll have to settle for posting pictures of it.

It's hard to keep a straight face when you're doing something so silly

Pastor Larry and Mr Lyle came to visit us in the hospital...Lyle is in love with Penny(smart guy)

Aunt Carol and Lyd...I mean Penny...doesn't she look just like Lydia here?!

upside down adorableness

the best out of a long series of pictures of the three of us....they were pretty over it...I still get a kick out of holding them both at the same time

  1. I get a kick out of seeing you holding them both at the same time. It just blesses me so much to see how big they're getting and watching their silly grins.
