Counting down

Jonathan, Lydia, and I had a great time this morning at the pumpkin run! It was a pumpkin walk for us but we had so much fun catching up with old friends, making new ones, and thanking people for all if their support. We had 49 official members and raised almost $3000!!! We are so honored to be a part of helping the place and the people who have helped us so much.

Mom and I were very proud of ourselves during our stay with Penny. Thanks to her humidification mishap we had lots of practice in emergency suction. Finally we had battled with it long enough and we decide to change out Penny's trach and she's been faring much better since then. She had one more trick up her sleeve and on mom's 24 hrs last night she popped out her trach! So mom handled it beauifully (according to the nurse) and all has been well since!

We are headed up to spend some time with them and lend some moral support to mom and also to have some photo documentation done by the wonderful Amy Dale (google her).
