I AM KNIT TOGETHER: Still here

It has been a busy busy wonderful joyfilled week! Barely a minute to breath let alone blog. So here is the fast update.

Penny is doing excellently at home. Happy as a clam and as precious as can be. She has had a few exciting moments with plugging of her trach and a few desat episodes (those are usually user error...e.g...i forgot to make sure her oxygen was hooked up right) but overall things are going very well. She got a good report at the doctor and is in the 5th percentile for her actual age which is very nearly 10 months.

Lydia has decided it's time for her to be a big sister now. She's pulling up, using lots of consonants, and babbling up a storm! I tried to upload a video but it didn't work. Maybe next time. She is in the 50th percentile for her actual age.

Our home health nurses have been great too. We are so grateful to have them!

On another note, I need to ask for your prayers for some friends of ours. Chris and Shelby Vafinis and their brand new twin baby girls. They were born at 29 weeks and are going through many of the same things we did. I'm so grateful that we are going to be able to use the things that we learned so soon to help someone else! Please pray for peace for them and healing, growth, and lack of complications for sweet Evangelyn Rose and Tamsie Pearl.
